Still more than $15K from goal, non-profit pushes on
Monday, Jan. 5, 2009
With just a few weeks to go, the Bonita Springs Assistance Office is short on its $100,000 goal for the annual Stocking Fund.
Lois Hollands, of the BSAO, announced last week that the total to date was $84,329.62, more than $15,000 away from the goal.
The Stocking Fund is the BSAO’s biggest fundraiser.
At the end of each year, the organization asks Bonita residents for donations to help.
Money raised from the Stocking Fund will go towards helping find food, financial assistance and advice to Bonitans facing tough times. Full story »
